Taking the step to move from volunteer to realtor was an easy one because I love to help others and enjoy sharing with newcomers what our little corner of paradise in North Central Florida has to offer.
My husband, Mark, and I have raised 4 children and have 10 grandchildren that are evenly split between Florida and New York. I have always been involved in my community and served in many different capacities as a volunteer when our children were younger - boy scouts, girl scouts and community recreation sport programs. I have continued to volunteer in the community of Rainbow Springs since we purchased our home in Dunnellon in 2012.
I worked in several positions throughout my career which have given me a wide variety of experiences to help me share all that I have learned. I retired from The Nature Conservancy as the Chief of Staff to the Central Science Department, working for the Chief Scientist of the global organization. I traveled extensively and supported learning sessions for scientists around the globe. I also worked as a radiologic technologist and as a building secretary for a middle school.
I have always loved horses and have owned several over the years. The beauty of the local horse country combined with the rivers and parks make this the perfect location for us. That and family are what initially drew us to this area. I also enjoy being in the out of doors, am an avid reader and love to cook.
